The Regulator 26 C
Center Console Offshore Sportfisher
The Regulator 26 is the mother ship of all Regulators, as it was the first model ever built by Regulator Marine in 1988. Decades of refinement has brought the 26 to where it is today: the quality benchmark for midsize center console sportfishing boats. One sportfishing magazine editor, in describing the 26 as part of its editorial testing, wrote, “Unequivocally, the best open-water fishing hull I’ve been on. Period.”
Regulator’s unique Fiberglass Grillage System™ premiered on the 26 and is incorporated in all its models to this day. This phenomenal superstructure is bonded to the inside bottom of the all-fiberglass hull and acts as the backbone of the boat. The Regulator 26 is a Carolina purebred that delivers impressive performance and an especially comfortable ride, thanks to her 48-degree entry flared bow and 24-degree transom deadrise.
The 26 is loaded with notable standard features like two 17-quart bait boxes and a 16-gallon livewell in the transom; a huge, 700-quart, in-deck wet/dry box that doubles as locking rod storage; four additional fish box/dry storage lockers in the side decks and bow area; an all-fiberglass, 6’ stand-up head compartment with portable marine toilet (optional electric head with holding tank); Lenco® 14” x 18” auto-retract trim tabs; triple-battery electrical system; hydraulic steering and Yamaha® Command Link™ instrumentation.
Plenty of options are available to customize the 26 to the needs of the hardcore fisherman, such as 16 or 18-foot Lee® Sidewinder outrigger poles with laydown mounts, a custom fiberglass tackle center, and a freshwater system with 20-gallon capacity. A protective and stylish solid fiberglass T-top comes with pre-wired electronics box and LED dome light; you can also add optional electronics flush-mount panel and T-top mounted rocket launchers.
Dependable and powerful twin Yamaha® F250 four-stroke outboard engines get you out and back, while the 176-gallon fuel tank provides plenty of range. Duel fuel fills are standard, and an optional 34-gallon auxiliary fuel tank is available.
You get it all in a Regulator 26 Classic: the “hall of fame” center console sportfishing boat that started it all…and continues to lead the way.
